Article Types Accepted:

IJMCM prioritizes high-impact original research articles and comprehensive reviews. Other article types may be considered under specific conditions:
-  Original Research Articles: Novel findings with rigorous experimental design and broad implications.
-  Reviews: In-depth, critical syntheses of current knowledge in the field.
-  Mini-Reviews: Focused updates on emerging topics (max 3,000 words).
-  Systematic Reviews: Evidence-based analyses following PRISMA guidelines.

-  Short Communications: Brief reports of significant preliminary findings (max 2,000 words).
-  Letters to the Editor: Concise opinions or responses to published articles (max 1,000 words; start with "Dear Editor" and combine methods/results without detailed comparison).

B. Manuscript Submission Policies
 General Requirements:
- Manuscripts must be submitted in English in Word (.doc or .docx) format via the online portal at [www.ijmcmed.org](http://www.ijmcmed.org).
- Submissions must be original, not previously published, and not under consideration elsewhere.
-  Preprints: IJMCM does not accept articles previously published as preprints on recognized servers (e.g. bioRxiv).
-  Artificial Intelligence (AI): AI tools may be used for language editing, data analysis, or responding to reviewer queries, but not for any AI-assisted work; AI tools cannot be listed as authors. Authors must review and take full responsibility for AI-assisted work; AI cannot be listed as an author.
 Data Sharing:

Authors are required to include a Data Availability Statement in the manuscript, specifying how the data supporting their findings can be accessed (e.g. via public repositories like dbGaP, Sequence Read Archive, or supplementary files). Deposition in recognized repositories is strongly encouraged to promote reproducibility.

C. Manuscript Format
The manuscripts must include the following sections in a single file: Title Page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, References (in Vancouver Style (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html)), Tables, and Figures (with legends). A distinct running title (max 50 characters) must be given.

Title Page:
-  Title: Concise, specific and informative.
-  Authors: Provide the full first and last name, affiliation (department, institution, city, country), and current address for each author. Include ORCID iDs, if available.
-  Corresponding Author: Provide name, address, email, phone and fax (if applicable).

Abstract and Keywords:
-Abstract: Max 250 words, organized into  Background ,  Methods ,  Results , and  Conclusions . Avoid abbreviations and citations.
-Keywords: 3–8 terms, based on the Medline MeSH headings (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/mesh/MBrowser.html).

Text:
- Use generic drug names, with brand names in parentheses if relevant.
- Spell out abbreviations/acronyms the first time they are used, followed by the abbreviation in parentheses (e.g. "Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR)").
- Report measurements in SI units, with traditional units in parentheses (e.g. "1.5 mmol/L (27 mg/dL)"), except for blood pressure (mmHg) and hemoglobin (g/dL).
- Footnotes are only allowed in tables and figures, not in the main text.

References:
- Number the references consecutively in the order in which they are cited in the text and use Vancouver Style (http://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/uniform_requirements.html).
- References only cited in tables/figures are numbered in the order in which they are first mentioned in the text.
- Limit references older than 15 years to classic or seminal works.
- If there are more than 3 authors, list the first 3, followed by "et al.."
